TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 15

Dear God’s Beloved One,

“Order my steps” has been sung across the world many times over. It is considered a classic in the gospel music world. But when I read the words of the lyrics, it reads more like a prayer. I’ve posted the lyrics below for your reading. Today ask God to order your steps in His Word.

Love,
L

Order My Steps

Order my steps in your word dear lord… Lead me guide me everyday Send your anointing Father I pray Order my steps in your Word Please, order my steps in your Word

Humbly I ask thee, teach me Your will While You are working help me be still Though Satan is busy, God is real Order my steps in Your Word Please, order my steps in your word

Bridle my tongue, let my words edify Let the words of my mouth be acceptable in Thy sight Take charge of my thoughts both day and night Order my steps in Your Word Please, order my steps in Your Word

Lord, I just want to walk worthy, my calling to fulfill Please order my steps, Lord And I’ll do Your blessed will The world is ever changing But You are still the same Please order my steps, Lord I’ll bless your name

Order my steps in Your Word Order my tongue in Your Word Guide my feet in Your Word Wash my heart in Your Word Show me how to walk in Your Word Show me how to talk in Your word When I need a brand new song to sing Show me how to let Your praises ring In Your word in Your Word Please order my steps in Your Word

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 14

Dear God’s Beloved One,

There was a pastor and his wife that liked to have dinner parties. Their congregation was small but they extended invitations to one family at a time to lend their undivided attention to each person. The pastor’s wife would spend almost an entire day preparing to receive guests. She was careful not to overlook any details. She used her best china, silver serving utensils and crystal glasses. When guests would arrive they would find a dinner table befitting royalty with its elegant table settings and delightful foods. God has spared nothing in the preparation of His love letter to you and I. It is a lot like the dinner table filled with delicious foods. Everyday that you wake up is an invitation from God to feast at His table. He has gone to great lengths to prepare meals for His beloved children to dine upon. So what are you waiting for? Accept His invitation and feast upon the word of God.

Lovingly,

 Sha

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 13

Dear God’s Beloved One,

Growing up, I fondly remember a game called “Follow the leader”. Everyone wanted to be a leader and take your peers on an adventure. That was fun as a little kid but as I got older I discovered I really disliked following other people. I wanted to make my own decisions and decide where I wanted to go. After all, I was intelligent and equally independent and felt that no one could possibly lead me any place I REALLY wanted to go. However, I have learned to love following someone else when I entered a relationship with Jehovah-Raah, The Lord my shepherd. It is in following Him that I have found all the things I had been searching for. King David says very eloquently in Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want” (NIV). My Jehovah-Raah does what any good shepherd would do and leads me to peaceful, lush pastures where I find exactly what I need to sustain me. It is under the careful watch of my shepherd that I am secure and find provision and protection. I never have to worry about being led to a place that is unfamiliar and dangerous. He can be trusted I assure you of that. So, who is leading you? Parents? Spouse? Job? Friends? President? Put your trust in a proven source. Give God the opportunity to lead you. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Lovingly,
Sha

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 12

Dear God’s Beloved One,

Be strong when trials come. For God knows the best way to grow us up.

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow

James 1:2-3 NLT

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 11

Dear God’s Beloved One,

Our God is so powerful that he has to go by different names to reflect his character. One name that is used to refer to God’s character is El Elyon, which means God Most High. The El El in his name emphasizes his power and might . Sometimes when we go through our daily lives the position of El Elyon can get lost in the trials, concerns, and the hustle and bustle of this life . His position of “Most High” in our lives becomes second Most High , or third Most High to a job or person . Let us remember that as our creator and father, El Elyon must be Most High in our lives. We can trust El Elyon to help us with the  trials and concerns of life but we first have to make him El Elyon in our life .

Love,

L

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 10

Dear God’s Beloved One,

When you don’t understand God’s plan remember Jeremiah 29:11.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT)

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 9

Dear God’s Beloved One,

Let’s start our day with prayer .

Lord,  thank you for allowing us to see a new day. We don’t know all of what this day holds but we do know that  you have our lives in the palm of your hand. Because of this, we can face today with great confidence in knowing that you will be with us every step of the way. Thank you for  your  renewed grace ,mercy and your love.  In Jesus name.

Amen

Love,

L

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 7

Dear God’s Beloved One,

We don’t always understand the will of God when it is happening but  we can always take comfort  in knowing that it’s the best thing  for us. Take comfort in knowing that  as a child of God, he  makes all  events, bad experiences,  good experiences, embarrassing  moments, proud moments, fearful  moments and even the hurtful moments work together for your good.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his  purpose for them

Romans 8:28 NLT

Love,

L

TRTO Encouragement Campaign: Day 6

Dear God’s Beloved One,

During the moments of frustrations, it’s best to stop and say a prayer of praise. Why ? Praise in that moment acknowledges that  no matter what’s going on God is still in control . When you praise it signals to God to  begin working that situation out on your behalf. Give him praise.

Love ,

L
