Dear God’s Beloved One,
One thing that I love about God is that He takes you where you are and fixes you up. Colossians 2:11 says
When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision- the cutting away of your sinful nature”
Colossians 2:11 NLT
This helps me to remember that those things that I struggle with to make my life line up with the Word of God is being worked out in my spiritual nature. Soon you will be able to see the change in my response, belief and faith.The same can be said for a new believer. Today they may struggle with addiction but when they trust Jesus, little by little you will begin to see a change in their life. The change happens because Christ is cutting away the sinful nature in that person. You don’t have to “get right” before you come to Jesus. When you come, He will do the rest .

That is very true. The Bible tells us that we cannot cleanes ourselves from unrighteousness. So all we need to do is just come to Jesus and allow the Spirit of God to perform his operation.
Nicely said. I can just imagine how much time we waste trying to ” clean” ourselves up to meet Jesus.
