Dear God’s Beloved One,

This is the last day of our encouragement campaign.  We hope that you were encouraged to strive for your God-given potential.  A life well lived is a life dedicated to the glory of God.  I appreciate being allowed to share with you.  I leave you with Psalms 37:4 which states, ” Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.”

Dear  God’s Beloved One ,

What do you do with your time ? Is your time spent  running from here to there? The Bible says that we should number our days, meaning  we should  take careful thought to how we spend each minute. Because our lives is nothing but a vapor , we have to make each second count .Two years ago I  attended a service in which Pastor Kerry Shook taught  on being “weird” with your time.  It was based on the book called  Weird by Craig Broeschel.  Here are the notes from that  sermon describing the  key questions you should consider when committing your time .

Five questions  you should ask yourself concerning commitment of your time

1. Is it  worth my life?- Does the commitment line up with the will of God?  you will spend most of your time based on  your priorities . If your biggest priority  is work then you will spend most of your time at work .
2. Is it a divine opportunity or a beautiful distraction ? – Does the commitment  take me away from the purpose and the  will  that God has for my life?
3. Does it make me come alive or do I die each day ?- Will the commitment  line up with God’s words  and I enjoy it  or is it a dreaded chore. Many people talk about their job as if it
4.  Will it encroach on  my  sacred margin? Does the commitment take me away from my  time  with God  ? Are you spending less and less time with God?
5. What are you waiting for ? Procrastination only help us  waste time .  Can you spend that time working on the will God has for you ?

Dear God’s Beloved One,

Do you possess a faith that pleases God?  Hebrews 11:6 states, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (NIV).  Ask yourself the following questions:

1. Do I believe in God….really believe in God?
2. Do I believe God and what He says in His word?
3. Do I seek God and His will daily through prayer and His word?
4. Am I really seeking more of God or do I just want to involve Him in my problems?

Let me assure you that God is real and you can trust Him.  As you examine yourself using these questions please examine your life for evidence.  If you said yes to these questions without there being any tangible evidence then you are most likely in denial.  There is danger in being in denial regarding your relationship with God. Look closely at questions one and two.  Many of us can say yes to number one but truthfully we have to say no to number two.  If we do not believe what God has recorded in the Holy Bible then I doubt we have very much faith and it is likely that we are not living a life pleasing unto God.  Use every day to really get to know God and His word.  The Bible is your faith factory.  It is not just a bunch of stories from ancient times.  Build your faith and diligently seek God on a consistent basis.  Notice I said to seek GOD not a new Mercedes.  God is worth so much more than a new car or house.   If you live a life pleasing unto Him you won’t have to worry about those trivial things because you will have more than enough in knowing Him.

Dear God’s Beloved One,
The way to your promised land is through the desert. In the desert is where you grow and learn preservation . The old bondage mind set has to die first then you can move into the land that was promised to you. Desert times in our lives are in no way comfortable.They force us to change what we have become so comfortable living with from day to day. With God, desert times are about character growth and shedding those things that will not be necessary for the next level.Even though this season is not comfortable, you can rest assure that God has your best intrest at heart. He knows what it is going to take to get you to the next level.

Dear God’s Beloved One ,

One definition of paralysis is ” A state of powerlessness or incapacity to act “. Like paralysis  fear can also cause a state of powerlessness or incapacity to act when it is introduced into a life. Many have lived a paralyzed life. They want to move in a direction  but because  of fear of failure or fear of the unknown  they  stay  where they are comfortable , letting their  great opportunities and life pass them by. One thing that you should know about fear is that it is False Evidence Appearing Real. What we see that is causing us to “not act” or live in a state of” powerlessness” is not as big as we think . 2 Timothy 1 :7 says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear  and of timidity , but of power , love and self-discipline(NLT)”

When we let fear overtake our lives , it means that we have believed something that God did not speak to us. We have believed Satan over God our Father. Our Father created us and He created us in His image. Fear is not a part of His image and was not in the plan to be part of ours. However it seems to be the reason why we don’t act. I myself have heen paralyzed by fear. And in being fearful, I have missed opportunities and breakthrough. But all is not lost, we can pray to our Father to help us move from fear to faith. Lets pray.

Lord we thank  you for another day. In this day Lord  guide  my family and I as we part to go our separate ways  for the day. Keep your arc of protection around us .  Show us  your will and mission

Dear God’s Beloved One,

Often we try to live up to others expectations.  We stress ourselves out trying to craft ourselves into what our parents, spouses, siblings, bosses, children or friends want us to be. Our lives become one big production where the characters that we play change with every new scene. It is often after we have hit rock bottom that we find the people that we have become are not people that we like or ever wanted to be. God has taken the time to carefully craft each individual for divine purpose.  If you fail to live up to your divine purpose to pursue someone else’s desire for you then you have wasted your life.  Take careful inventory of your life to determine if the life you are living is fulfilling your divine purpose or being wasted on meaningless pursuits.

Do you have a limited view of God?  If your view of God is limited (meaning you put him in a box of what he can and will do for you ) ,then you run the risk of cutting off your blessings. With God all things are possible . Open your eyes and see the possibilities
